Hi, I’m Gabi — a Brazilian photographer based in Austin, TX, and the founder of Braz Creative Studio.

Six years ago, I moved to New Jersey to take part in a cultural exchange program. It gave me the chance to travel, experience different cultures, and build meaningful friendships along the way. Wanting to capture those memories, I bought my first camera and started documenting everything I was living through my lens. Capturing and preserving memories through photography has been a long-time passion of mine, and although I didn’t initially plan to turn it into a career, what started as a hobby naturally grew into a profession that I truly love.

Eventually, life brought my husband and me together, and I made the move to Austin. That’s when I realized it was also time to shift the direction of my photography. I started experimenting by photographing products I had around the house. With my background in Advertising, I dove deeper into commercial photography, started sharing my work on social media, and soon landed my first paid gig with a local Austin brand.

Fast forward to 2025, and I’ve had the chance to work with some amazing brands, helping them bring their marketing vision to life. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I love working with passionate founders and marketing teams to understand the soul of a product and craft imagery that reflects a brand’s identity, values, and voice. For me, it’s not just about creating content — it’s about creating connection.
